Artistic Director
David Faulds Graduated from the University of Glasgow with a Masters Degree in Music. After many years of teaching throughout Britain he returned to Glasgow to study at the RSAMD. Here he obtained a P.G (Dip) in Voice and won a scholarship to study for a M.Mus in Musical theatre.
David's career has been highly varied with him working in musical theatre in the West End, various opera companies through out the UK, cruising the world as a guest singer, working on T.V and Film
Theatre work has included. The Phantom of the Opera, Sweeny Todd, Chess, Jesus Christ Superstar, Matilde and the Carl Rosa West End Season of Iolanthe, Pirates of Penzance and the Mikado.
David Has worked with Scottish opera, Carl Rosa Opera and ENO.
He has also worked for STV on "If Love for Love" and BBC in Master classes with Jean Redpath. David has also been on several TV ads most notably for esure car insurance and the AA.
David also runs his own theatre company "Cast Theatre Company" and last year premiered Mario Lanza the musical - a one man musical drama telling the turbulent life story of actor/singer Mario Lanza - and was awarded a total sell out award at the Edinburgh Fringe 2009.
Along side working as a professional actor and singer, David has been teaching for many years and has taught all ages from as young as 3 years old to mature students. He also is a talented musician and composer.
All of this experience, coupled with endless patience and a sheer joy in performing and teaching children make him a perfect person to head up the Dramatize performing arts School!
