I wont a Volunteering Award for my contribution to Dramatize.
The ceremony was at Spelthorne Council Offices. The ceremony was for Award Proposers, Recipients and Guests of recipients.
One of the staff conducting the ceremony read the citations for each nominee then the nominee went up to collect their award. After receiving the award the nominee had their picture taken with the Deputy Mayor.
It was an absolute honour to receive the award. I feel like all my hard work has paid off. This is what was said about me ….
Claire originally came as a volunteer to improve her social skills within a work placement in a safe and secure environment that she knows and trusts. Claire attends our Creative Movement class along with being involved in Dramatize Co, a touring company.
Throughout her time at Dramatize as a volunteer she has slowly gained confidence to independently complete tasks herself. We have slowly given her more tasks to complete and she has taken it within her stride. It has been a pleasure to see her grow into the role and have high hopes for her future in gaining paid employment.
