Horticulture

Building Futures

Our horticulture programme supports adults with learning disabilities through practical training, recognised qualifications and pathways to meaningful employment with the care and guidance from our specialist team.

Through hands-on experience, students improve their communication, teamwork and employability skills while enjoying a sense of achievement and belonging.

Further Development

Where we work

Our horticulture programme supports students to carry out work in the local community, giving them valuable work experience and the opportunity to develop practical skills. We also run our own community garden and Garden School, where students can learn, grow in confidence and contribute positively to their community.

Community

Our students grow fresh produce for local community fridges and food pantries, helping to provide healthy food for people who need it. This initiative gives students valuable horticultural experience while allowing them to make a positive and practical contribution to the community.

Supportive Elements Summary

Dramatize's programme is deeply committed to offering opportunities that nurture autonomy and independence. We focus on individual needs, aiming to instill confidence and choice in our students. By providing real-life work experience and a supportive environment, we ensure that each student thrives, finding meaning and value in their lives.
